Would medal and fan, can someone please discuss to me the fundamentals in Triangle inscribed in a Circle and vice versa?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay:) what do you know so far?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm. i've learned that http://www.efunda.com/math/areas/images/CircleInscribeTriangleGen1.gif

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know what the variables stand for?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know about a,b,c but for k i don't know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i know that k= 1/2 (a+b+c)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

still here. yow!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What you have here is Heron's formula: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heron%27s_formula Just with \(k\) to denote the semi-perimeter instead of \(s\) The semi-perimeter is just half of the perimeter so: \(s = \frac{a + b + c}{2}\)
