Add: (6x – 5y) + (3x + 3y – 2) (Points : 1) 9x – 8y – 2 9x –2y – 2 9x + 2y – 2 14xy – 2

what's your idea?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

this is just a matter of combining like terms...and when your adding them, parenthesis are not needed...however, if subtracting it would be different. 6x - 5y + 3x + 3y - 2 combine like terms 6x + 3x = 9x -5y + 3y = -2y and the -2 has no like terms so we are left with : 9x - 2y - 2 questions ?

oooh okay i get it. thank you!!
