Use the following magazine article excerpt to answer the question. Harper Lee's novel To Kill a Mockingbird is a classic work of literature. A work comes to be classic because it contains a universal theme, something we can all learn from. This work in particular contains quite a timely lesson for members of the Republican and Democratic parties. Both sides can most definitely learn from Lee's book. Just as Jem and Scout put aside their fears of Boo Radley, members of both sides need to learn to be more tolerant of one another. This great country is becoming polarized because the parties are so focused on each other's differences. Rather, they should put aside their own prejudices and come together for the good of the nation. The subject of the article might eliminate which of these groups as its intended audience? people who have not read To Kill a Mockingbird people who are members of the Republican or Democratic party someone who is concerned about the conflict between the Republicans and the Democrats
