Can someone please help me! I will give medal!! Find the volume of the cylinder. Use 3.14 for r

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

what's the height and radius?

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

the volume of a cylinder is \[V=\Pi r^2h\]

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

radius R = 17 meters

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

is it right? @Buttercup214

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

so, square 17. then multiply that by 27 (height).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r = 34 m h = 27 m V = 98055.389903845 m3 L = 5767.9641119909 m2 T = 3631.6811075498 m2 B = 3631.6811075498 m2 A = 13031.32632709 m2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats what i found but thats no help to what i need help with.

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

I thought d=34 so r=17?..

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

what do you need help with?

OpenStudy (triciaal):

volume of a cylinder = pi*r^2*h given r the radius and h the height told to use 3.14 for pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to explain it so show my work i want to do it myself but really dont know how me and @Michele_Laino did something like this i think i can go back and it do it and just go by the step she did but don't want no F when i do math i get Fs or Ds on tests right now its at a b i dont want to mess that up.

OpenStudy (triciaal):

in your diagram you are given the diameter the diameter = 2 times the radius same as radius = 1/2 the diameter so you can find r

OpenStudy (triciaal):

use the formula stated plug your numbers and simplify the calculations

OpenStudy (triciaal):

are you ok now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What you mean by plug your numbers like put them together
