What is 100,000,000! Hint: ! is factorials

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

It would be a HUGE number - it is 1,000,000 * 999,999 * 999,998 * 999,997 all the way down to 1

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

The Scottish mathematician Stirling figured out a way to approximate factorials. Here is what Wikipedia says: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stirling's_approximation

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Stirling's approximation is n! ~ sq root (2*PI*n) * (n/e)^n for 100,000,000 100,000,000! ~ (2*PI*100,000,000) * (100,000,000/e)^100,000,000 where e = 2.71828
