I think finish should have ed at end could be wrong

Were looking for the past participle, although finished is past tense, its not the past participle. What the correct answer could contain is not ed but an entirely different word (that does not contain '-ed').  The word is passive. 

I recommend trying your '-ed' rule to the other three options and notice gow one of them wont make any sense. :)

In other words, you may list the ones that you think are correct. After listing all 3 correct ones, you'll be left with the incorrect one; that will be your answer.
