OpenStudy (igreen):

?

OpenStudy (bookworm14):

there is 3 ways you can do this: 1. 20% is the same as 20/100 so we can take 115/100 = 1.15 then multiply 1.15 * 20 to get your answer 2. 20% is the same as 20/100 or 2/10 hence it equals 0.20. Now just multiply 0.20 * 115 to get your answer 3. just plain old multiply 115 * 20% to get your answer (most calculators will do this) hope this help for your future reference in similar problems @taymanning ~Bree :)
