Cal 2, solid of revolution question. Lets say i have two equations and the area im interested in rotating is in the 1st and 4th quadrant. the line i need to rotate the area around (x=5) to create a solid, goes through the area. ive only ever dealt with rotating around the x and y axis and rotating around lines that did not cut through the solid so i dont know what to do

an easier way to phrase what im saying is. how do i deal with the line of revolution when it goes through the solid?
