I do online schooling and i got pretty behind in all my work and its affecting my grades quite a bit. would anyone be willing to help me out with a few questions? first one i have is "why did president Nasser (Ejypt) think the Suez canal rightfully belonged to Ejypt?"

I found a couple different things that i think could be the answer but i dont know which it is or if im even close...Dx "On October 29 Israel invaded the Egyptian Sinai.
