What type of correlation is shown in this scatter plot? A. no correlation B. random correlation C. positive correlation D. negative correlation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think the possible answer could be? I think I know for sure it's not B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i belive c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i gave the link to the scatterplot

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

this would be an example of no correlation|dw:1425567383230:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did this test before and got and 100% The answer is C. positive correlation

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

So its not "No correlation"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

People... Don't give direct answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i trust amy i do think it is c

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do think its positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok no direct awnser plz

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

The answer is C because a positive correlation is what is in the graph , make sure that most of the dots are following one of the given correlation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you guysneed the scatter plot again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what would negative corlation look like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, you are correct it is C! However why you know it's not D?

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

Negative correlation |dw:1425567551329:dw|
