Here is my version of your paragraph. As you can see, I have divided some sentences and made them stand on their own. I have also added commas, a semicolon, and a colon. The First Amendment of the United States guarantees Americans certain freedoms; among those freedoms is the freedom of speech. According to the First Amendment, every American has the right to his or her own voice. While there are some limitations, ultimately, an American has the right to express his or her feelings in a variety of respectful and non-violent ways. As an American, it is important to ask yourself a question: “How will I use my voice?"
