If angle ABC is 85°, what is the measure of the angle that is supplementary to angle ABC? 5° 175° 265° 95°

OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

do you know what "supplementary" means?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hello and no..

OpenStudy (misty1212):

means they add up to 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Supplimentary angles means, that the sum of the two angles is equal to 180 degrees. So, if you need to find the angle that is supplimentary to ABC which is 85, then you would take 180-85. and your answer will be given. In this case, it is 95.

OpenStudy (misty1212):

so do \(180-85\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got it, because if you subtract 180 by 85 it is 95, so surprisingly I finally figured it out by myself lol.
