What is 4.12 expressed as the quotient of two integers in simplest form :) help cause I cant figure this out myself

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Hold on im in 4 places at once! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok! thank you. :))

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

How about you explain what your teacher taught you first on how to solve this :).

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Well?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I wasn't there the day my teacher taught us so I have no clue honestly. But it's wanting a fraction. I don't actually have to write it out in words

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no clue what I'm supposed to do :'D

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Alright. So basically a quotient of two integers is basically a rational number.

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

And a rational number is a fraction. So what is 4.12 as a number? considering it has to be placed over a fraction.

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

?/100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

412/100

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Ok first of all no its not 412 xD

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

And second of all round the .12

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Nope you were right my bad its 412/100 :)!

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Did a little research on it before i made myself an idiot.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I told you I have no clue what i'm doing. xD is is 4??? xDDD

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Now simplify the fraction :)

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

@studier97170 You there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry my computer is being slow :( and yay!! 4 3/25 ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait but there can't be a whole number

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

That's okay. Uh that is wrong, And yes im aware there cant be a whole number.

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

The answer would be 103/25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay! Do you mind helping me out with one more? xD

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

I suppose so make a new post though.

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

1 question per post ^-^.
