how do i find the appositives in an sentence. please help ASAP

An appositive renames something so if you see a noun that basically means the same as another word in the sentence, it is the appositive EXAMPLE: My dog Lucy is nice Lucy is th eappositive since Lucy is the dog and dog came first in the sentence :)
