Step 1: Guess 2 (because 2*2=4, close to 7) Step 2: Divide 7 by 2 = 3.5 Step 3: Find average of 2 and 3.5 = 2.75 (because (2+3.5)/2 = 2.75) Step 4: Next guess is 2.75 So, D. Hope this helps!
