my second answer for 1900 is George Orwell George Orwell was born in India in 1903 but his mother moved him to England when he was just one year old to live with some of their family members. It was in England that he spent the majority of his life, becoming one of the most well read British authors of all time. Orwell has much interest in human nature and politics, which is why social injustice was a common theme in his books.
