why is the economic theory supporting market economies (or capitalism) much more realistic than theories supporting command economies?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Very few places support command economies, because the government controls every aspect of the market.Command economy is only supported in a communist society. Most people would rather let the community as a whole sort out the economic issues we face, rather than the government regulating what to produce, how much to produce, and how much to sell it for.

i hope this answers your question. Basically market economies are for the people by the people, good ol' U.S.A blah blah, and command economies are North Korea brain wash nonsense.
