Poetry is only intended to be taken literally. True False

OpenStudy (anonymous):

false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its false. If you want i can send you links that have an explanation for this :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hint: with poetry you need to look beyond the "surface"

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Please no direct answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

True

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@inowalst I did not give a direct answer. As I said " I think.." implying that I don't know the answer to this but it is a simple guess which is why I offered links to prove my theory and they can decided whether my answer was wrong or right and hopefully get their answer themselves. Thanks for the concern though.

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Saying what you thin, whether its wrong or right, is giving out an answer of some sort. You're supposed to ask what they think and if its wrong, guide them to the answer with links and such, not with "I think.." because, as I said before, if its wrong or right, they will lean more towards that answer, if they dont get a second opinion.

OpenStudy (inowalst):

*think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually no they won't. Whenever someone tells me "I think" immediately I don't trust the answer and do immediate research due to their opinion. A direct answer would be: "its false" "its true" "its this answer" "its a" What I said was an indirect answer. Indirect (adj): not straightforward My answer was not straightforward as I may repeat, I said "I think" (my opinion) which is not a crime. Everyone gives opinions on this site. I offered also to add links that prove my statement and I was going to add some that did not prove my statement and they could come to their answer. As a person with common sense can understand that when someone says "I think" it is an opinion, in which you should do further research because it is not a trust worthy reply. I believe it is common sense and if you'd like I can further validate this is actually helping me form a peaceful argument which I need to learn for school. :) Have a nice day!
