Brian looked at the clock. It was almost time for school to be let out. 7.....6....5....4.... As he waited for the clock, he thought about his plans for the summer. Camp Krusty would only be through the month of June. There was all of July to swim, fish, and hunt with his father. He felt giddy, anticipating all the fun he would have in the summer. Rinnnnng! The bell rang and Brian bolted out of his seat. No more school! No more boring lectures or classwork! Nothing but fun for the whole summer! How does the author paint a picture of anticipation in the story?
