In a parking lot of 240 red and blue cars, the ratio of red cars to blue cars is 3:5. How many red cars are in the parking lot?

90.

Ok so for 5 blue cars there are 3 red cars so if we had 8 cars in total then 3 out of the 8 would be red and 5 out of the 8 would be blue The probablity that we will see a red car is 3/8 So 240*(3/8)=90
