notice the triangle, left side give the coordinates notice the the altitude, or height, right side so you'd need to find the BASE and the ALTITUDE or HEIGHT of the triangle that is, the distance between XW and YZ to get the triangle's area recall that \(\bf \textit{triangle's area}\cfrac{1}{2}\cdot base\cdot height\)
