Question

Shouldn't OS allow users to choose the price to pay to OS on that optional thing of $10 dollars a month. Maybe some users would like to pay more others might want to pay less.

I've suggested several times or a donate button. I'd love to donate what I can to OpenStudy to help pay for servers

Like for example maybe some users cant afford to pay $10 a month but they would like to pay maybe $5 or $2... in my opinion for OS and the funds.... its better to receive $2 a month than nothing

I honestly think most users can afford $10...also how about if the users don't end up paying the full amount in the long run??

Huh. I like that idea. Any donation, starting at $2, will get you a subscription. For those who can pay more, they'll donate more. As far as I understand, the subscription system is being reworked

@EclipsedStar I really can afford it but like im like 16 and if i start giving OS $10 a month my parents gonna think im doing weed, and with $10 i can get 2 packs o-o

Just in my opinion, I don't want to offend os, but if there's a donation tab on every page then os might look desperate for funds...that was my impression when I saw wiki's donation tab popping up on the top of my page.

@EclipsedStar i guess it is :P it would probably help to get some money to stabalize the site before the launch of owlbucks,etc..
plus i meant like the paypal tab on the bottom of the site not the pop up

ik but some people get offended. But my view point is we should try to give the option of how much we want to give OS. Anything that helps OS is better than nothing right?
