Sam deposited $128 in his savings account. Each week, he will deposit 1/2 of the amount he deposited the previous week. At this rate, how much money will he have deposited in his account after 8 weeks? Find the formula that represents the series and write the series in sigma notation. Sam wants to save $1500.00. Is this the best strategy to use to get to that amount? Why or why not?
