OpenStudy (alli6106):

Two students just finished playing five games of chess. Each student won the same number of games and there were no ties. How do you explain this?

OpenStudy (thomas5267):

What are the possible outcomes of the game? The only three I could think of is player 1 winning, player 1 losing and tie. I don't think it is possible to have no ties and have the two players have the equal number of wins.
