pooja195 (pooja195):

haha what about one :P i gotta go to school im sure someone else can help @sleepyjess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, so we know it can't be bigger than 11,600,000. So which do you think now?

OpenStudy (igreen):

12,000,000 ^ Millions place 12,000,000 ^ Thousands place

OpenStudy (igreen):

The millions place is where '2' is in that number..

OpenStudy (igreen):

Okay, so we want the number after the millions place to be 5 or more.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Not necessarily though, it could be 4 or less if we had a bigger number.. But most of the options contain '11' in the beginning.

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

down

OpenStudy (igreen):

Oh wait, it says hundred thousand.. 12,000,000 ^ Hundred thousand place

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

it that was the h ths you would have round down

OpenStudy (igreen):

11,598,546 Round this to the nearest hundred thousands place..what's the number after the hundred thousands place?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Smh

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

yeah we know

OpenStudy (igreen):

11,598,546 ^ If this number is 5 or more, we round the hundred thousands place up, if it is 4 or less, we round the hundred thousands place down. So, are we rounding up or down?

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

up

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

@sleepyjess

OpenStudy (igreen):

Correct, so we round the hundred thousands place to 11,600,000

OpenStudy (igreen):

And 11,598,546 also rounds to 12,000,000..so A is your answer.

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

yes ikit

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):
