I need help with a few questions about Pythagorean Inequalities? I will medal!
Do you know what \(2\sqrt{22}\) equals?
2 square root of 22?
If I knew what \(2\sqrt{22}\) equaled, I could help you, but I don't. :P
I typed it in the Calculator and it popped up 9.38
Same...
It just multiplies 2 x the square root of 22. Is that correct? @welshfella
if its a right angled triangle the (2 sqrt22)^2 will = 5^2 + 8^2
Yes, but does \(2\sqrt{22}\) equal about 9.38?
That's what my calculator is saying @AnswerMyQuestions
5^2 + 8^2 = 25 + 64 = 89 now you need to find out if QS = sqrt89
- if it is then by Pythagoras its a right angled triangle
Yes, It's B :) Thanks
That's what I thought...
I wish I could give more then one medal :(
best thing is to square 2 sqrt22 to see if is 89
@KrazyKricket You actually can.... >:)
How??
@KrazyKricket First, make sure you haven't gave anyone a medal(If you have, take it away). Then, open the same post in a new tab, so you have 2 of the same tabs open. Then you can give 2 people medals on the same post. :D
(2 sqrt22)^2 = 2^2 * (sqrt22)^2 = 4 * 22
Thanks :) Now you both have a medal!
:3
thats not 89 is it?
by definition of the square root:- |dw:1425656488942:dw|
