is it x to the power of 2, or just x times 2?

Im pretty sure its not to the power of x because this lesson i'm doing is on square roots so I think its trying to find the square root

If it is square roots then i am pretty sure they would want both the positive and negative. Yes I believe C is the correct answer :) ~Bree
