a. the spoon get warmer since heat flows from a warmer object to another. The hot chocolate will get cooler, and I think the air will get a little warmer from convection, too. b. • the hot chocolate and the spoon- conduction. I think the particles in the hot cocoa bump with the particles of the spoon and transfer heat. Eventually two objects at different temperatures that are in contact will come to the same temperature. • the hot chocolate and the air in the entire room- I think convection currents. I think it's convection because heat flows from hot to colder places. c. The heat will eventually stop when all three items are at the same temperature. This is called thermal equilibrium. Each object (the spoon, air, and hot chocolate) will eventually be 100°F :) Comments Mrs. Price Mrs. Price said 27 February, 2015 Great job! However, please remember to write all sentences in complete sentences. You did very good!
I had to copy and paste :)
