common cold? how does it start? common cold symptoms? when should you call a doctor for help? why do we get colds?

1. A common cold is just another name for the cold (it is an infection)

2. It starts when bacteria stick to the lining of your nose or throat and your body send white blood cells to that area

3. Symptoms (after 1-3 days0 runny nose, congestion, sneezing, scratchy throat and cough, and reduced sense of taste and smell. Young children may develop a fever.

4. When its hard to breathe, when you don't get better, when you can't keep anything down, when it hurts to swallow

5. You get it from germs and bacteria picked up from other, not from cold weather asnd no jacket (like my mom thinks :P )
