Celine has a bottle that contains 20% of milk and the rest water. The bottle has 1 liter of water. Part A: Write an equation in one variable that can be used to find the total number of liters of milk and water in the bottle. Define the variable used in the equation. Part B: How many liters of milk are present in the bottle? Show your work.

You have 1 litre your water is the unknown and you know milk is 20% let the unknown (water) be Y 20% of 1litre is 1x0.2 you know the rest is water so 1-0.2 = (i will let you work this out) you end up getting an equation in the form Y=a+b where a is the amount of milk, and b is the amount of water
