Many Americans were reluctant to get involved in World War I. They favored a policy of isolationism, meaning that they preferred that the U.S. government stay out of world affairs. The opposite view, internationalism, supported the U.S. taking an active role in world affairs. Even after American involvement in World War I, many Americans wanted to maintain a policy of isolationism. Do you think that a policy of isolationism is appropriate in our modern world? Do you think that is possible in our world today? Explain can someone please help I have no idea what to write !!!!!

OpenStudy (love_ranaa):

You have to write if you think that the US should just stay out of other's conflicts and if you think that it is possible to even do that.

I do think that sometimes the US shouldn't try to get involved in everything like they're the police of the world. I think isolationism is kind of impossible because if you have an ally, you have to help them :)
