i thought i could guess im a 6th grader hell you how can you live with this complicated questions

OpenStudy (thatgingeronfire):

Okay so you want to isolate y in 2x+y=-4. So -2x to each side. y=-2x-4 Now we have -2x-4=3x+2. Solve for x. +2x to both sides gives us -4=5x+2 then -2 to each side -6=5x Divide each side by 5 -6/5=x

OpenStudy (thatgingeronfire):

Put -6/5 in for x in any equation. y=3(-6/5)+2 y=-18/5+2 y=-8/5 so the answer is A
