Which line best fits the data shown in the scatter plot?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im thinking b

OpenStudy (unanimoose):

Well if it were that then the slope would have to be 4, and that seems way too much. The slope is more likely to be 0.5.

OpenStudy (unanimoose):

You canc alculate the y--intercept by drwaing the line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what i said

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh d

OpenStudy (unanimoose):

The slope isn't very steep so it obviously isn't 4. Remember: y = mx + b where m is slope and b is y-intercept.

OpenStudy (unanimoose):

Nope, that's a negative slope which would make it go downwards!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a!!!i dont pay attention

OpenStudy (unanimoose):

Yeah. xD Gj. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can eliminate b since the slope is wayyy too off you can eliminate d since it's a positive slope and that leaves you with two. the line is on top of the x-axis, so that leaves you with one answer.
