aww man use the pythagorean theorem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know the pythagorean theorem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the \(a^2+b^2=c^2\) thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh now i remember ;) thx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a and b is the short lines the c is the long line, which is that dotted line right there u r solving for the length right there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plug the #s in and solve for the line and then u can get ur answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that was kind of rude ^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nothing happened.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so since 8 is the longest side it would be c^2. 8^2 -6^2 =28 then you would take the square root of 28 which is 5.28!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you deleted your last comment which was kind of rude @Molly_Qian you acted like it was the easiest thing in the world but it might not be for @Kill.La.Kill just be a little more sensitive for others :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) ^^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok sorry...
