A rubber ball is dropped from a height of 27 m. Each time that it hits the ground it bounces to a height 2/3 of that from which it fell. Find the total distance travelled by the ball until it comes to rest?

inside of this is a geometric series. once the ball has dropped the 27 metres, it then goes up and down, first 18, then 12, then 8 and so on. does that help you start? please ask if you need more.

i forgot to tell you, the answer should be 135 :)
