We need to check out these two equations which come from the theorem and see which one gives an answer in the options.
16/x = 24/36 where x = BD and 36/24 = 27/y where y = BF

16/x = 24/36 gives BD to be 24
ok
36/24 = 27/y gives BF = 18
so bf = 18 is our answer right?
Yes. I don't see any other equations that could be written and solved using the given info.
