Help!! f(x)= 3 what is the domain and range? Thank you!

Mehek (mehek14):

are you sure that's your whole question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve and then domain and range

Mehek (mehek14):

f(x)=3 Is that is?

Mehek (mehek14):

because to solve you need a variable

Question said: Graph the following function:. Give the domain and Range athey show the graph line. f(x)= 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe the 3 is =y and then, y = range , but dont know the domain

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

have you graphed the function ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes I did, but what i do from there

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Do you get a flat horizontal line that goes forever in both ends ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

domain is all the values you can put into a function range is all the values that come out of a function

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

since the graph extends forever, the domain is "All real values" but the range is just "3" because the function stays at 3 forever

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

domain : all real values range : 3

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

see if that make more or less sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok that sounds good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let f(x)= -3x+3 and g(x)= x to 2 power -2, find g-f(x).
