Which sentence is not punctuated correctly? A. "Why did he call you 'Bug' just then? Is that your nickname?" she asked. B. "Did she say 'No more tickets will be sold'?" Ben wondered. C. "Wait," she called, "I've still got to find a copy of the poem 'Fire and Ice' for the recital." D. Lucy begged, "Just don't say, "Let's do lunch," please!" I have eliminated A. because there are no errors in that answer choice.

I think C. can be eliminated, too.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

D is quite the answer to ponder if you ask me. How there are quotation marks within quotations.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought so, too. So the answer would have to be D.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Yep. I believe so.

Great, and thank you!

wow you are wrong
