Check my answer! Which sentence is not punctuated correctly? A. She has gone to school in Paris, France; London, England; and Boise, Idaho. B. Ms. Davis, a well-known zoologist, spoke at the seminar; she didn't bring any animals. C. I think I saw your parents leaving the mall last night; they were in a light green minivan. D. I really like eating raw vegetables, however, for some reason, I prefer my carrots cooked. My answer: D.

OpenStudy (inowalst):

I dont think D is the answer. When you say it, the pauses are right where the commas are at.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hm.

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Dont just give out answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Then why "B ms.davis" ? And you know mods see deleted comments.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mods can see deleted comments? Huh, neat.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Anyways, D is not correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was going to explain how it was punctuated and how b was correct until you interrupted me rudly -.-

OpenStudy (inowalst):

No. You're not supposed to just say out the answer.

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Try again. @BlossomCake

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, if it isn't D. then it is B. because the others have no spelling errors. I assume the error in B. is the semicolon?

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Yes. It should be a period. Good job!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yay! Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow ok then
