What are the x-intercept(s) of the graph of y + 7x = x2 − 8? (−8, 0) and (−1, 0) (8, 0) and (1, 0) (8, 0) and (−1, 0) (−8, 0) and (1, 0)

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

To find the x-intercepts, you say that y = 0 :). So substitute y = 0 into your equation y + 7x = x2 − 8

OpenStudy (ribhu):

then solve for x by factorisation

OpenStudy (ribhu):

-8,0 & 1,0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay thanks guys

OpenStudy (ribhu):

@butterflydreamer i am waiting there

OpenStudy (anonymous):
