I'm writing a personal essay about music and emotions..can I have some feed back on what you feel about music, how it changes ur mood, types of music, how I should explain my emotions towards music

Well music is my life. When I'm sad or down I listen to music and it cheers me up. It doesn't matter what type as long as the song relates to what I feel it makes me feel alive. Sometimes sad songs make me sad as well but when it starts relating to what I'm feeling it makes me feel less alone. I love music in general, I don't discriminate when it comes to music I love all types. Whatever I crave in the moment that's what I listen to. :)

Thanks I have like a week to get this paper done but I kind of struggle with expressing how I feel about music lol but idk why because I listening to it 24/7

Music is the thing that's beyond words or lyrics. It's how human beings express their emotions they can't or don't want to say. It's the language that everyone universally speaks. Music can make a person sad, happy, confused, stirred, and everything in between. It can't be proven why a certain chord brings on a certain mood. Why a minor chord carries a feeling of sorrow or a major chord influences you to be happier. It's been around longer than most countries. It's in the blood of humans and children have only been allowed to learn how to play music for the last few centuries. It's new in the history of the universe for adults to think that kids can even play music. Music isn't a thing you can touch, it's something you feel. You can't see, smell, touch, or taste it. You hear it. You feel it. When music is played, it breathes like an animal. It's an Amazing presence. It can be the most influential, powerful, magnetic thing to a person.

@jaslynn It's okay lol you're not the only one. I know many people who can't seem to express their feelings towards things they like. Just try speaking from your heart. :) If that doesn't work its okay don't feel bad cause trust me you're not the only one. Good luck on your paper hope you do well!
