PLEASE HELP http://www.usatestprep.com/modules/gallery/files/73/7362/7362.jpg In parallelogram ABCD, find m∠A. A)15° B)70° C)110° D)200°
can you see the answers?
is this a test?
its a practice one, why?
we cant help with tsts
i have the real one tomorow ;(
HI!!
your only job is to solve \[6x+20+4x+10=180\]
that should not be too hard once you have \(x\) put it back in \(6x+20\) to find \(A\)
oh ok
@mathstudent55 whatever that means
Consecutive interior angles of a parallelogram are same side interior angles of two parallel lines cut by a transversal and are supplementary.
im still a little lost to be honest. does any1 know the answer?
The two two angles given are supplementary. That means their measures add to 180 degrees.
Add the measures and set equal to 180. 6x + 20 + 4x + 10 = 180 Now solve the above equation for x.
oh ok so set them to add to = to 180
Right. Can you solve the equation?
let me see ill put it into my calculator
ok thanks i got x=15 and plugged it in to get 110
Correct.
um can u help me with another one please?
ill make another question so i can come back and see it
