Suppose we go to planet Orcon and find that the surface gravity has an acceleration of 13 m/s2. On Orcon: a) Your mass would be the same as on Earth and so would your weight b) Your mass would be less than on Earth and so would your weight c) Your mass would be more than on Earth and so would your weight d) Your mass would be the same as on Earth but you would weigh less e) Your mass would be the same as on Earth but you would weight more
where is this from? e
what do you mean? and how do you know its e?
Weight = mass x acceleration . Mass stays the same , but acceleration increases , so weight increases. So E is the answer.
The gravitational force is higher, so you would weigh more. However, mass is how much stuff you have inside you, which doesn't change unless you use the toilet, eat, etc. etc.
E, because the more mass or acceleration of the planet, the more you will weigh.
but isnt g on earth 9.8? So W=(9.8)(M), would be smaller than w=(13)(m)???
Because it's smaller, you will have more weight.
Yes!
Correct, hence why you would weigh more on this new planet.
Exactly!
oh nevermind, i read it wrong sorry!!!!
thanks
No problem. :)
Lol
wish i could give all of you medals :)
YES THANK YOU!!!!
