Given an scatterplot how hard would it be to find a quartic regression line by hand? I'm trying to workout whether or not my teacher expects us to do it by hand or using a graphics calculator. I'm only saying its a quartic regression line as that's the best fitting one and I can easily do that on the calculator.

Yeah the maths involved in that is far out of the scope of what been taught. Thanks for the help :)
