An expert archer tried to shoot an arrow into a target lying at the bottom of a shallow pool. Even though the water did not change the direction of the arrow, the archer missed the mark by several inches. Which interaction between light and matter caused the archer to miss the target? A. transmission of light passing from water to air B. absorption of light passing from water to air C. refraction of light passing from water to air D. reflection of light passing from water to air
Anyone what a medal
i think b or c still not sure though
ok thanks for trying @cssapp12
its alright
reflection is the bouncing of light, refraction is the bending of light. Water and air have different densities and so the light changes speed when entering the new medium, refracting it. Light is not absorbed by water.
