OpenStudy (anonymous):

show me your answer for a (system of equations) please I will help you from there if I can

OpenStudy (mikeymaximum):

Let me just say right now... He/She did not calculate correctly He/she was supposed 2 get 172 instead of 166

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So far I got $8d+$5c=$166 8*14=112 5*12=60 112+60=172 but I'm not sure if I'm right

OpenStudy (mikeymaximum):

U r in fact... CORRECT

OpenStudy (mikeymaximum):

((thumbsup))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah thats what I got but I need a systems of equations answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kool_22 is my system of equation right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you sure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you think is the point

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no idea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's where I'm stuck at

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the point is the solution so what do you think the solution is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

$172?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes and 172 is the solution that fits the system right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so now you write your solution/answer in a complete sentence

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I could say, Avi incorrectly counted his money because 8*14+5*6 does not equal 166 it equals 172

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.fan and medal will be appreciated. if you need anything else regarding questions feel free to ask. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok I have a couple more questions that I need reassuring on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'd prefer if you helped me with this one https://juno.jupitered.com/files/262406/Unit_5_Review_14.PNG?1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is your answer to question a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I thought there were 10 girls so I doubled it to 20 subtracted 7 and got 13. 10+13=23

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do I put that into a system of equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x+7+y=23 x=y-7 this should system of equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

based on what you know on systems of equations, tell me if this looks correct to you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here's what I got:(a)y=x-7 (b)10*2=20 20-7=13 10+13=23 (c)There are 13 boy players and 10 girl players on the coed soccer team.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or:(a)y=x-7 (b)20=10*2 13=20-7 23=10+13 (c)There are 13 boy players and 10 girl players on the coed soccer team.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one thing you should mention is where you got 10 from. @kmachelle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's ok @kool_22 I passes it
