yeah, deforestation doesn't have to be man made, it can occur due to forest fires and other natural disasters as well, so it's not as exclusive as the statement suggests, so that rules out A Well we all know that cutting down trees would decrease the amount of carbon dioxide taken up thereby decreasing the amount exchanged And the last one is the opposite of the answer, because if you were to expose the soil to wind and rain etc, they would increase the rate of erosion
