Three teenagers were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting at a Robles Park basketball court Sunday night, police said.

Police said they received a call about shots fired at 8:14 p.m. near East Lake Avenue and North Avon Avenue. The preliminary investigation indicates a group of people were standing near the basketball courts when at least one vehicle drove past on East Lake Avenue.

At some point, shots were fired at the crowd from the direction of the suspect vehicle, police said.

The bullets struck Michael Johnson and Tyrell Scott, both 18, and a 16-year-old male. The victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
