MEDAL AND FAN What is the measure of < 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (ilovecake):

oh I remember doing this in k12

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

The total amount of degrees in a quadrilateral is 360. Because the four angles are connected, you can use the quadrilateral method to solve, which would be: 360 - 112 - 109 - 69 = < 3

70?

OpenStudy (ilovecake):

no. It is not 70

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

I got 70 as well

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Let me check my work real quick....

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

70 is correct!

OpenStudy (ilovecake):

That is funny I got -66. Well I must have done the work wrong

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Look at the triangle < 3 is in. The two other values' sum is 110. 180 - 110 = 70

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it's 70?

OpenStudy (ilovecake):

yeah I guess @JackofallTradez is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Your welcome :)
