Question

Working through a complex root of a homogeneous equation with constant coefficients. I've tried a few times now, but I can only get my answer to *almost* match the one in the book. Image is attached. Thanks! :)

hi...your characteristic equation should be 9r^2+6r+4=0
You just wrote it down wrong is all.
Rework it and you should be fine!
